Local, Regional, Municipal Programs

• Community Works Loans Programs: local investment capital available to entrepreneurs in participating communities.
• Community Futures Development Corporations: non-profit development agencies promoting business development financing within the area.

• Community Futures Heartland serves several municipalities in the Central Plains area including the city of Portage, town of Gladstone, town of MacGregor, and town of Treherne.
• Community Futures White Horse Plains serves the rural municipalities of Cartier, Headingley, Portage la Prairie and St. François Xavier.

Provincial Programs

• REDI (Rural Enterprise Development Initiative) - several funding programs offered by Manitoba Rural Development.
• Funding programs sponsored by Manitoba Entrepreneurship, Training and Trade
