About Central Plains Inc.

We are a non-profit organization "owned" by its membership, who are local government authorities in Manitoba, Canada. In addition to municipal (local government) members, there are a number of associate members who share an interest in, and support the work of, the organization.

We provide services to:

• individuals who would like to start a business
• businesses that are interested in expanding or relocating
• industries looking for a place to locate
• our member local governments needing help on projects that encourage economic development in the region

Like any corporation, we have a board of directors that consists of representatives appointed by the member local governments and associates. The "day to day" operations are performed by a professional development staff. Click below for more information.
